Final tickets remaining for Efestival 2019

This coming August bank holiday weekend, 24th and 25th August, EFestival will return to Eccleshall, and there are only a few tickets left to enjoy the fun.

Bringing together a multitude of acts over several stages, including bands that are recently or on the cusp of being signed to a record label, Eccleshall’s Efestival gives festival goers a real opportunity to experience talent that’s about to break in to the big-time.

The Little George, which recently celebrated its second birthday on 28th July, will host the majority of the festival. There’s plenty for everyone to enjoy, with the party atmosphere of the main stage being complemented by a more mellow, acoustic stage.

Festival goers will have exclusive access to Gin, Prosecco and Craft beer bars as well as authentic Turkish BBQ food to keep you fuelled throughout the weekend. Music takes place at The Little George from 1-10pm on Saturday 24th August and 1-7pm on Sunday 25th.

Saturday acts include:

  • Open Arms, a four-piece, upcoming indie pop band from Birmingham who have really started to cause a stir, and are gaining the praise and approval of some of the biggest names in popular music, including Lulu, Peter Andre and The Twangs, Matty Clinton, and sharing the same stage with a number of them too;
  • Jason Callear – a highly accomplished musician and the talent behind EP XXXIX (Thirty-Nine) which was released by label Assorted Records in 2012 and premiered at various locations including the Acoustic Festival of Britain. Beatl3s – who recreate the sound of the Fab 4, without the look – “no wigs, just gigs” is the band’s motto!
  • Monarchy a Queen tribute like no other. Taking over 2 years to perfect, their full Queen Production is second to none providing even the most ardent Queen fan a night to remember. This set is bursting at the seams with Queen’s Greatest Hits.

Sunday continues the festival with a more chilled out 80s/90s rewind, headlined by the outstanding UB40 Experience, the only tribute that play homage to all members of UB40. Each member of the band has studied the playing techniques, style and sounds of the members of UB40 which they represent so that the real UB40 sound and feel is captured in the overall performance. Members of the band have played alongside UB40’s Brian Travers, Laurence Parry and Tony Mullins in addition to members of Steel Pulse, The Specials plus other top name bands. Performing all their greatest tracks, the UB40 Experience is the perfect Sunday headliner.

As well as the activities at The Little George, the wider Eccleshall business community is also offering a number of special activities and discounts for festival goers including festival breakfasts from Fletcher’s Garden Centre and the Star Café, a massive 10% discount on all wines and spirits from Three Pillar Wines, 10% discounts at Gallery 12 and drinks promotions for wristband holders at The Royal Oak and The Bell, to name a few.

There’s also non-ticketed music events on Thursday at The Little George, Friday at The Little George and The Royal Oak and Saturday and Sunday at The Bell. When the outdoor music finishes at The Little George on Saturday and Sunday, there’s still plenty to do, and the party continues in venues across Eccleshall to round off the bank holiday weekend in style.

Zoë Wallis, Director of Bent’s said “we are excited to see the return of EFestival and would like to thank our sponsors, James duPavey & Carlsberg for their support, as well as the local businesses we’re working with in Eccleshall. This is an exciting opportunity for people to see and appreciate all that Eccleshall has to offer.
