The fleet of emergency vehicles from the Service will also be showcased, as well vehicles from a range of partner organisations. Visitors can talk to firefighters about home and road safety, and also sign up for free Home Fire Risk Checks. Stafford FM will be entertaining guests and there will be competitions and a barbecue.

Jude Russell, Internal Communications & Events Manager, said: “The Family Day is a great chance for members of the community to gain a real insight into the wide range of work that the fire and rescue service carries out. It is also a really good opportunity for visitors to learn more about fire safety in the home and there will be lots of fun filled activities to entertain guests both young and old.”
