Firefighters’ car wash for charity

Firefighters will be washing cars to raise money for the Firefighters Charity at Stone fire station on Saturday 8th September.

The charity car wash will be taking place between 10am and 3pm at the station on The Filleybrooks. As well as washing motors, firefighters will also be handing out safety leaflets and signing people up for a free fire home risk check.

The fire station’s student firefighters will also be telling people about their club, which is held every Friday at the station between 6pm and 8pm for young people between 12 and 17.
