A fiendishly addictive game created by Stone’s Steve Howe will have its first UK championships in Birmingham at the end of May.
Librium Games will be running the first Librium Games Championships at this year’s UK Games Expo in Birmingham at the NEC’s swanky Metropole Hotel on Sunday 31st May.
The competition is open to anyone on a first come, first served basis, with prize money, games, and at least a bottle of the critically acclaimed Librium Ale for each competitor. There are just 16 places up for grabs with an entry fee of £4, so what are you waiting for?! A 1 in 16 chance of becoming a UK champion quite frankly doesn’t get any easier than this!
Entries are accepted via the UK Games Expo site – https://www.ukgamesexpo.co.uk
The Games Expo runs for three days and is the ideal opportunity to check out and play the latest games from card games to full-blown role player tournaments. It’s a fantastic spectacle and one which Librium Games were very pleased to exhibit at last year. They can be located in the library area near one of the entrances this year, a spot which should guarantee plenty of activity and hopefully sales.
For further details about where you can have a go at playing Librium, described as “the thinking man’s Buckaroo”, or to see how the range of Librium Games could help you market your company, contact creator Steve Howe – stevehowe@libriumgames.co.uk – for a no-nonsense rundown of what opportunities are available.
Here’s a video from 2012 of the Royal Exchange bar staff taking part in the Librium Games Team Challenge – it’s definitely not as easy as it looks!
