A journey that started with pain

When Sam Macpherson lost her father, the grief didn’t just stay in her heart, it settled deep into her back, triggering intense pain that didn’t have an obvious medical cause. That experience sparked a journey of discovery which led to the founding of Forever Flow Health and Wellbeing in May 2025.

Working from her home-based practice, Sam is now the only qualified Spinal Flow practitioner in Staffordshire. It’s a distinction she’s proud of, rooted in personal transformation and professional training.

“I realised that I carried emotional trauma in my spine,” Sam explained. “That’s what led me to discover Spinal Flow, and it’s completely changed my approach to health and healing.”

What is Spinal Flow?

Spinal Flow is a non-invasive therapy based on chiropractic principles, energy healing, and over two decades of research by its founder, Dr Carli Axford. Sam trained directly with Dr Axford during an intensive course in Barcelona.

The technique involves gently touching specific access points on the spine, particularly the sacrum and cranium, to help release deep-rooted blockages caused by physical, chemical, or emotional stress. These blockages can build up over a lifetime and affect everything from digestion and sleep to mental wellbeing.

“It’s about helping the body return to its natural state of flow,” Sam said. “By clearing the seven spinal gateways, we allow energy to move freely through the nervous system again. When that happens, healing begins.”

A unique wellness space for Stone

Forever Flow Health and Wellbeing is more than just a therapy room. Sam is building a space for people of all ages and backgrounds to explore what true healing looks like. Alongside Spinal Flow sessions, she offers biophotonic scanning to measure nutritional levels, followed by personalised supplement and skincare plans to support the body holistically.

“No two journeys are the same,” she said. “This isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. I work with clients to understand their health history, emotional patterns, and personal goals.”

Who might benefit?

Spinal Flow has reportedly helped individuals with a wide range of symptoms and chronic conditions, including:

  • Migraines, insomnia, anxiety, and depression
  • Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue
  • Digestive problems and food sensitivities
  • Reproductive concerns and hormonal imbalances
  • Respiratory issues such as asthma
  • Back, neck, and joint pain including sciatica
  • Neurological symptoms such as vertigo, brain fog, and tinnitus

Sam emphasises that the treatment is safe for all ages, from young children to older adults, and that healing often begins with simply being heard and understood.

A personal approach to wellbeing

Sam is keen to stress that connection is at the heart of what she offers. “It’s so important to feel safe and supported in your healing space,” she said. “I bring my integrity, compassion, and personal experience into every session.”

Appointments are available Monday to Saturday from 10:00am to 6:00pm, with evening bookings also available.

Opening offers and future plans

To celebrate her opening, Sam is offering 10 percent off all bookings made before the end of June. While she’s currently a solo practitioner, she’s open to working with other local wellness businesses and hopes to co-create healing retreats in the future.

The Spinal Flow journey begins with a free consultation, by phone or video, to understand your intentions and goals. From there, a detailed health form, posture analysis, and gateway assessment help shape a personalised treatment plan.
