Stone in Bloom invites you to join them in the Market Square when they celebrate the RHS’s launch day of Edible Britain on Saturday 20th, beginning at 10am.
The group will be sowing a variety of seeds in pots for you to take away and grow and this year their campaign theme for the Heart of England in Bloom competition is ‘Food for Thought’. They will be growing edible plants and vegetables in areas around the town – including Stonefield Park.
This year’s judging date has been confirmed as July 5th and Stone in Bloom, which is made up of volunteers, is already working on areas in and around Stone. Once again there will be a repeat of the spectacular displays of wildflowers and the group are planning to sow even more areas than last year.
