Fourteen teams braved horrible weather to raise over £800 for an epilepsy charity at a fundraising football tournament in memory of Kieran ‘Lally’ McColl.

The event at Alleyne’s Sports Centre was to raise money for Gemma’s Ray of Hope in memory of Kieran, who died in May 2014 aged just 21 after falling into the canal during an epileptic fit. Since his tragic death, friends and family have raised almost £20,000 for the epilepsy charity through a huge range of challenges and events, all under the #LOL4Lally tag.
