Hannah Sutherland, who grew up in Stone, has debuted her first single on Soundcloud.
The song, ‘Make Some Music’, was released on Sunday 13th October, and has over 500 plays so far and was featured on the ‘New & Hot: Pop’ playlist handcrafted by SoundCloud.
Hannah says: I grew up on a blend of Beatles, Pixies,The Bangles and Jerry Lee Lewis (courtesy of my dad). I spent most of my childhood in Stone, attended school there and still love the local music scene, especially Granvilles!”
“Music has always been in my family – my grandad was in a 70s band called ‘The Sutherland Brothers’, who penned ‘Sailing’ and ‘Arms of Mary’, so it’s great to be able to continue the songwriting tradition and my song’s received a really positive response online so far!”
