Four people were arrested this afternoon after a police car chase in Stone. Staffordshire Police sent us this information this afternoon:

At around 2.10pm today, Thursday 19 December, officers on routine patrol in Stone attempted to stop a orange Nissan Almera on the A34 but the vehicle failed to stop.

A short pursuit of the vehicle followed which resulted in the vehicle being abandoned near the golf course next to the Wayfayer pub and the driver ran off. A member of the public detained the driver, a 17-year-old male from Birmingham, who was then arrested when officers arrived.
