Information about the equipment:

At Dragonfly we endeavour to utilise the latest and best technology to provide our customers with the highest quality images from the best angles and perspectives.

In order to deliver this we utilise the ALTURA ATX4 UAV (Drone) built by Aerialtronics to the highest specifications, contemporary shaped, designed with an eye for detail and built with high quality components. The Altura Pro V2 systems are assembled by hand in the Netherlands and are tested thoroughly. (Although we think it looks better in red!).

Operational flight time is around 15 minutes per battery pack with a maximum payload of 1.2Kg

One of the most important features of the Altura Series is it’s accurate stabilisation and resulting image quality. The stabilised camera mount  and advanced flight control provide a crisp image that requires minimal to non post production.

The Altura Series has an advanced GPS assisted Flight Control System. This allows the Altura to hover at a fixed position or maintain a fixed height.

Autonomous flights including auto take-off and landing are also possible. The intuitive and user-friendly Altura Ground Control Station lets the user carry out precision missions.

Camera positions and locks can be added to GPS flight patterns.

Our main camera is the Sony RX100 Mk. II. This camera benefits from a supremely large 1-inch, 20.2MP Exmor R sensor, which captures more detail and includes back-illumination technology. The large sensor also allows for a range of movie capture modes, including full HD at either 24/25p or 50/60p, in either AVCHD or MP4 formats.

Together with many of the on-line camera reviews we believe that this camera is arguably the best compact camera ever made, delivering truly astonishing image quality.
