Motorists will be able to park for free in Stone town centre over the next two weekends.
The borough council has waived parking charges for motorists on the three car parks (Christchurch Way, Crown Street and Westbridge Park) run by the local authority on the two Saturday afternoons. Parking is already free on Sundays.

People can park with no charge after 1pm on Saturday 3rd and 10th December.
Cabinet member for planning and regeneration, Councillor Frances Beatty, said she hoped it would provide a timely boost for retailers and businesses in both towns.
