Alexis Babb’s parents grew up in Stone but moved to the US 35 years ago and have spent the last 25 years in California. That’s where Alexis was born, but she comes to Stone every few years to see her grannie, Barbara Fisher.
Alexis writes a lovely blog – called Ticket to Happyness – and, after her last visit to Stone in May, wrote a lovely article about the town and her favourite things about it. The Common Plot, “charming shopkeepers”, Downs Banks and more are featured, with some lovely photos as well.
