Following the establishment of Stone Community Hub, a training evening for new and current volunteers is being held at the Frank Jordan Centre on Tuesday July 7th, from 7pm until 9pm.

The Hub is an amalgamation of Signposts and The Den, thus providing volunteering opportunities to work with adults and young people. This evening provides an occasion for everyone to meet, mix and gain an awareness of the Hub and its role within the local community. Importantly, it recognises the value of the volunteers and the positive contribution they make to the community.

It will offer the opportunity for all volunteers to get more familiar with the organisation – which ran a hugely successful crowdfunding campaign earlier this year – and each other and to look at the importance and role of volunteers at Stone Community Hub. The evening will be a mix of input and interactive sessions offering all participants the opportunity to have a say and become involved.

If you require further information or are interested in attending, please contact Kim Jones on 07982 162816 or email manager@stonecommunityhub.org
