Half-term sporty fun for youngsters

For the first time youngsters and their parents will be able to book online for the borough council’s sports courses and activities in the school holidays this month.

The online booking facility has been launched for the council’s ‘Get Out’ holiday activity programme. Sports development courses in football, athletics and ‘sports of all sorts’ as well as mobile skate park sessions will be available to book online at www.staffordbc.gov.uk/getout

In Stone there will be a packed pool programme, Active-8 sessions, a Tuesday night dance-off and trampoline coaching at Alleyne’s Sports Centre. There’s lots going on in Stafford too, including tennis coaching, trampolining and gymnastics.

The half-term holiday, which starts on Monday 24th October, also includes Halloween workshops for five to 15-year-olds at spooky Stafford Castle and the haunted Ancient High House.
