A one-day music event is being held at Granville’s on Sunday 24th March to raise money for brain tumour research.
A number of musicians will be performing throughout the day (from 1pm till late) with some of our local young bands in the afternoon including Stone’s own Hazel Eyed, and followed by a full evening of entertainment including Camden singer/songwriter Holly Turton, local Irish band Blarney Stone, the smooth sounds of Granville’s favourite acoustic jazz man Mick Giliker and closing with Cornish bluesmen the Bone Shakin’ Babies.
And people who go along are being urged to wear a hat as the event coincides with the Brain Tumour Research charity’s own “Wear a Hat” campaign. More information at www.braintumourresearch.org/wear-a-hat-day
Tickets can be obtained in advance from Granville’s, Home and Colour at £6 for adults, £4 for under-16s or a family ticket for £15. Tickets are limited but will also be available on the door.
