Stone in Bloom are continuing to work around the town getting everything ready for the judges’ visit on 8th July – and they want volunteers to help make Stone weed and litter-free.
The group wants to continue their amazing gold award run and need your help to make this happen.
You may have noticed the freshly painted street furniture in and around the High Street. That’s all down to Bloom volunteers, as well as cleaning the wall around the plane tree in Granville Square and lots more.
This week the group will be meeting at the Anglers’ Car Park, near to Trent Clinic, from 6pm on Tuesday 31st May, Wednesday 1st June and Thursday 2nd June.
If you’re going along to help out, please take garden tools, gloves and a cold drink
Station Approach will be next on Stone in Bloom’s list, with volunteers meeting at the station on Sunday 12th June at 10am.
