High five as goals keep coming for Stone Dominoes LFC

Stone Dominoes LFC 5 – Wyrley Ladies 1
West Midland Regional League Division One North
Sunday 25th October 2015

Stone Dominoes LFC

Stone Dominoes LFC didn’t have their usual full squad available for this encounter and were expecting a tough game.

After a pretty even start, with chances for both teams, Stone scored three times in the first half to take a commanding lead with goals from Jules Kendrick, Hannah Perry and Nat Price. The scoreline was a bit flattering, as Wyrley had their fair share of chances. Dominoes keeper Charlotte Perry pulled off some fine saves.

Stone were aware that Wyrley would come out strong at the start of the second half. Stone stayed strong, though. Hannah Perry’s second goal came from a winding run from Kendrick through the Wyrley midfielders, laying the ball off for winger Mollie Prime who placed the ball on to Perry’s foot for her to get her second of the game and making the score 4-0.

Mollie Prime rounded the scoring up after some great play between herself and Hannah Perry. Wyrley bagged a consolation with 15 minutes left to play after a quality free kick on the edge of the box.

Player of the match – Hannah Perry for her hard work as striker netting two goals herself and creating chances for others on the team.
