How to make use of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme

Eat Out and Help OutFrom the 3rd August Stone diners will be able to utilise the Governments “Eat Out to Help Out” Scheme to knock £££’s off their bills – here’s how it works!

The Government-backed ”Eat Out to Help Out” scheme aims to provide an injection into the arm of the struggling hospitality industry which has been especially hard hit during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Scheme Details:

The scheme allows customers to receive discounts of up to 50% when eating or drinking soft drinks (alcoholic drinks are not eligible for the discount) in participating businesses – a list of the Stone participating businesses can be found here.

The promotion will run from Monday 3rd of August until Monday 31st August and is valid on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Whether you’re after breakfast, lunch or dinner the scheme can be used throughout the day.

There is a maximum discount of £10 available per person when you eat or drink in, with no limit on how many people can use the discount within a party, which could include children too. There is also no limit to the number of times that you can utilise the scheme during its operation.

The participating businesses will still price their food and drink at their full price but upon requesting the bill they will reduce the bill amount by the 50% which they will then claim back directly from the Government.

Please be aware that the discount is available only on food and drink that you intend to consume on the premises, and can be used as many times as you like.

Amazingly there’s no minimum spend and you don’t even have to buy food to be eligible, as an example, if you were to get a £2.50 soft drink, it would cost you just £1.25 – remembering it’s for food and drinks consumed on the premises.

As a double bonus, the scheme can be used alongside any other promotions and discounts being offered by the venue.
