Inn Ringers Support Alzheimer’s Society with 40th Anniversary Concert

The Inn Ringers have announced that The Alzheimer’s Society is their chosen charity for their 40th Anniversary concert on 25th June 2017.

Each year the members of The Inn Ringers nominate a charity to support, by an overwhelming majority it was decided the team should support the Alzheimer’s Society.

Musical Director Paul Mellor said “The number of people being affected by dementia is on the increase – the team felt this is a charity they would like to support this year. Our charity concerts are now an established part of our yearly programme and we hope our 40th anniversary concert will turn out to be something very special. We will be playing some of our favourite pieces from the last four decades, pieces that have been popular with our audiences like Match of the Day, Liberty Bell, Carmen Overture and Delilah”.

There will be party food, homemade cakes, coffee and tea during the interval as well as a charity stall and a raffle. To make the event even more special Stone Town Mayor will be attending.
