Fifteen years ago Allyn Edwards and Sue Weller (pictured) had a dream. They wanted Stone to be the healthiest place in the country to live. They had each had very successful careers as chiropractors in Liverpool and London, and wanted to spread their vision of wellness and share their knowledge of the body’s brilliant ability to heal itself.
With this in mind, they moved to Stone and decided to open a natural wellness centre.
Fast forward to the present, and on Saturday 20th June the Ishta Natural Health Centre will be celebrating their 15th anniversary. Allyn and Sue invite everyone along to join them for a day of festivities from 11am to 4pm. There will be the opportunity to:
- Listen to mini-talks
- Try a therapy taster session
- Attend a mini yoga workshop
- Try holistic dance
- Sample an amazing mineral drink
- Have a free postural check
Sue said: “Our aim in opening the Ishta Centre was twofold – firstly, we wanted a peaceful place to work with a team of therapists who also worked in a truly holistic and natural way to empower people to look after themselves. Secondly, and just as importantly, we wanted to be a centre of information and training. Currently we have a team of nine therapists, offering a wide range of therapies.”
Allyn and Sue also run workshops throughout the year. For more information on these, you can sign up to their newsletter at www.ishtacentre.co.uk
The Ishta Centre is located at 26 Kings Avenue. If you require any further information, please call Sue on 01785 616010 or email mail@ishtacentre.co.uk
Allyn and Sue would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who has helped or worked with them in any way during the last 15 years. Go along on 20th June to help them celebrate their anniversary.
