Joule’s ‘spiritual home’ return with festival beer tent sponsorship

The beer tent at Stone Food and Drink Festival is among one of the event’s most popular attractions, drawing real ale fans from far and wide with its strong showing of Staffordshire breweries.

This year looks set to be no exception – with regulars Lymestone Brewery, Slater’s Ales, Titanic Brewery, Freedom Brewery and Peakstone Rock Brewery joined for the first time this year by new beer tent sponsor, Joule’s Brewery.

With its links to Stone going back to the 18th Century, it is fitting that Joule’s is making a return to the town in which it originated, and where its legacy still exists in the form of the old brewery and wine merchants’ buildings in the heart of the town.

The Stone Food and Drink Festival is a fantastic platform for Staffordshire food and drink, and we are delighted to be involved. We view Stone as our ‘spiritual home’, as it’s where Francis and later his son, John Joule, established the brand that we have passionately revived, so getting involved with the festival seemed a natural way to celebrate this.”
