It was last used as a day centre by Staffordshire County Council but has a long history as an educational establishment.

  • i went to there when it was a day centre. i miss it. we had so much fun i worked there for a while to. till it became to much. then went back as a service user

  • I’d have to agree with Rob there- a community art & cultural space would be great. Space for group meetings, some practical workspaces and a usable outdoor area by the looks of things?
It would be great to see a good building with some history and character being used for something worthwhile rather than purely another business, or conversion into inadequate residences. It could really give something back to the town…

So many memories of this building. All our school dinners were prepared here when I was at Christ Church Primary (1957-1963) It was also were the school dentist was although they weren’t such happy memories!
