One lane of the A34 northbound after the Darlaston Inn roundabout is likely to be closed all weekend after a landslide late on Friday night caused a tree to collapse on to the road.
Staffordshire County Council say heavy rain caused the landslide, which happened at around 10pm on Friday night, totally blocking the northbound side of the A34. Crews worked through the night to free one lane, allowing vehicles to get through today.
If you have any photos of the landslide, could you email them to news@alittlebitofstone.com or share via social media? Many thanks
Thanks to the person who called A Little Bit of Stone on Friday night after seeing the landslide happen – I didn’t get your name but we were able to quickly update Twitter and Facebook last night and let people know. So thank you very much ^Jamie
