Last few days of Miami’s 100 day dance challenge

Nine year old Miami Edwards from Stone was inspired by Captain Sir Tom Moore to take on her own 100 challenge, and she’s asking for song requests from the public for the last few days of her 100 days of dance.

Now on day 92 (Friday 7th May), Miami has smashed her original target of £1,000 with a whopping £1668, and is now hoping to hit the £2,000 mark by the end of her challenge.

The St Dominic’s Priory pupil is now dancing to songs requested by the public, and is keen to get more requests for the final leg. All proceeds will go to National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, a cause that Miami feels very strongly about.

Jacque Edwards, Miami’s mum, said: “Miami feels sad that children live in a world of loneliness and heartache! Miami loves helping people and making them smile ! She said to me “Why can’t all children be happy and loved mummy, it makes me so sad to think a kid is afraid to be in their own home, why can’t we take them away from this?”. Unfortunately we can’t do this but we can try and make a difference!”

All the dances are recorded, with the newest uploaded to her gofundme page, where people can make donations and request songs. Previous dances can be seen on her youtube channel here.

Good luck Miami!
