“The Blueshounds have been playing our own unique brand of contemporary electric rhythm and blues at pubs, clubs and festivals around the Midlands for the last 11 years.  We decided it was time to share our music more widely by independently releasing an album, which celebrates where we are at this moment, and features a mixture of covers and our own material.

“All the tracks have been recorded ‘live’ in single takes, in order to give the listener a feel of how we sound during a live performance.  The recordings actually took place over two separate sessions – the covers in March 2013, and our original material in February 2015, both at ‘The Toilets’ rehearsal studios in Stoke-on-Trent. Many thanks to our good friend Matt Bishop (Honey Ryder) for the production and sound engineering on both sessions.

“We are officially launching our album at our second home The Royal Exchange in Stone on Saturday 13th June from 9pm and hope you will be able to join us.  Thank you for your continued support.”

The album, entitled ‘On Your Trail’ will be available at the launch, priced just £7, by contacting the band direct via their website – www.theblueshounds.co.uk, where you will also find details of upcoming gig dates and be able to peruse their set list and enjoy audio clips of selected tracks.
