Lots going on over October half-term

There’s lots going on in and around Stone over the half-term break to keep the kids entertained. Here’s what’s on offer – if there’s something you know about that’s going on in Stone that we don’t, email news@alittlebitofstone.com and let us know!

There’s sporting activities all week in the borough council’s Get Out! holiday scheme, including free swimming for children at Alleyne’s Sports Centre. Have a look at the brochure HERE.

Stone’s PCSOs are laying on some activities as their popular COPS scheme returns for children between eight and 16. On Monday 29th October there’s a nature walk and orienteering at Downs Banks in Barlaston between 10am and 2pm. There will be sausage sandwiches for lunch! On Wednesday 31st October there’s ball games and art & crafts in Stonefield Park between 2pm and 4pm. Call the Stone Neighbourhood Policing team on 07929 610424 and speak to Jenny, Lyndsey or Donna to book places on the nature walk

Stone Library has some spooky arts and crafts on Monday 29th October from 11.30am to 12.30pm

Amerton Farm has lots of Halloween activities all week, including Monster Train Rides! More information here
