The managing director of Stone mobile phone business m-viron has been nominated for the nationally acclaimed Mumpreneur Awards 2013.
Sarah White juggles running two businesses – Mviron (in the High Street Arcade) and the BforB Staffordshire Ladies – alongside raising a young family. Her dedication to supporting women in business across Staffordshire with BforB has proven to be extremely rewarding and led her to be recognised as an inspirational mumpreneur.
Business for Breakfast (BforB) Staffordshire Ladies is a business club whose key aim is to help women grow their business through relationship marketing and the passing of qualified and quality referrals. Sarah acquired the group in September 2012 after almost two years of experience as a local director for Business for Breakfast.
As well as being nominated in the Best Supporting Business category, Sarah is also in with a chance of winning The Inspirational Business Mum Award, which will be awarded to the mother who proves to be an inspiration to all women in business.
Sarah said: “I have always said and stood by the saying that ‘work is my hobby and my children are my passion’. I live every day for my family and they are who encourage me to provide a comfortable living and drive my ambitions to be a successful businesswoman.
“I am very honoured to have been nominated for this award and I hope it highlights the entrepreneurial talent amongst women in the Staffordshire region.”
Sarah now has to wait to find out whether she has made the finals, which will be taking place on 28th September at The Holiday Inn, Birmingham.
The Mumpreneur Awards are the UK’s first national business awards dedicated solely to mums in business. Now in their fifth year, the awards have been a platform for many mumpreneurs to enhance their business, and continue to grow even through this uncertain economic climate.
