Staffordshire Police have confirmed that a male has been arrested in relation to repeat burglaries of the AED Donate charity shop storage.
The AED Donate charity shop moved last year from Radford Street to the former Donna Louise shop on the High Street and utilises off site storage for excess stock.
Unfortunately over a short period of time thieves repeatedly broke into the storage shed, taking items that had been kindly donated by local people.
Gemma Ward, Neighbourhood Policing Commander for Stafford Borough tweeted A Little Bit of Stone on the news:

Jamie Richards, Chief Executive of AED Donate, told A Little Bit of Stone:
“On behalf of AED Donate I would like to thank Staffordshire Police for their hard work on this case, overall we had 4 break ins that have cost the charity thousands of pounds in lost stock, skips and time.”
“The storage shed has now been removed, and thanks to our great community we have received donations to compensate for the loss of stock. This has enabled us to have no disruption to the shop and provide a normal service to the community.”
