Man charged in connection with burglary

A 35-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent has been charged with handling stolen goods in connection with the burglary at Cancer Research UK last month.

He has been released on bail to appear before magistrates at Newcastle on Friday 22nd March. A Staffordshire Police spokeswoman said a 28-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent remains on bail pending further inquiries while a second 28-year-old has been released from his bail without charge.
