Car lovers in Stone had plenty to drool over on Sunday morning as around 30 classic rally cars stopped off in the town en route to Monte Carlo.
A drizzly November day was brought to colourful life by the marvellous motors and their drivers, all part of the Classic Rally Association’s drive to France to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Monte Carlo rally. Stone was just one of four stop-offs in the UK before the cars boarded a ferry bound for Holland.
There’s lots more information about the cars at the Classic Rally Association’s website.
Thanks to Mario Janowski, Joshua Cope and Richard Stevens for the photos.
