Michael will be taking on the challenging 110-mile route to Llangollen and back, one of three choices for supporters to choose from.

He’s certainly been getting in plenty of practice prior to the event, having just completed an 84-mile ride around Stoke-on-Trent. Pedal power!

Michael commented: “I’ve raised £160 thanks to friends and family, and £150 on my JustGiving page, but I’m hoping to raise £500 for the Hospice. I first heard about the ride from my friends, and as I really enjoy a challenging ride, I chose the Llangollen ride and am really looking forward to it now.”

Jennifer Peake, the hospice’s Fundraising Manager, added: “We would like to thank Michael for his support, and wish him well taking on the Llangollen route for our Bike Ride. All monies raised from the Dougie Mac Bike Ride will help the hospice continue to care for adults in North Staffordshire facing life-limiting illnesses.”

Best of luck Michael from all of us at ALBOS. Hope you don’t end up too saddle sore!
