- Candidate Name: Mike Williamson
- Party: Conservative Party
- Election: Stone Town Council / Stafford Borough Council
- Ward: Walton South / Walton
I have represented Walton for both Stone Town Council and Stafford Borough Council, serving as Stone Mayor in 2015-2016. I am embedded in Walton having lived here for 47 years. I am presently a director of Tilling Drive Allotment CIC and a member of the management committee of Walton Community Centre. I was actively involved in the campaigns for the delivery of both the new M&S store and the Fitness Centre (including a new swimming pool) on Westbridge Park.
If elected I will continue to support the local community by arranging monthly surgeries for residents and provide a 6 monthly letter to update you on my activities. I intend to actively campaign to get the bus service returned to Walton and also for improved rail services for Stone. The new Leisure Centre on Westbridge Park shows that CONSERVATIVES deliver for both WALTON and STONE.
