Moddershall Oaks Country Spa Retreat is celebrating it’s 21st birthday this year, and has pledged to carry out 21 Random Acts of Kindness throughout the month with the aim to reward and delight past, present and future customers, along with the local community.
Founded in the year 2000 by the Holland family, the business has grown to become one of the UK’s leading spa resorts. Beginning on the 1st December, each day will be celebrated with one act of kindness – from additional treatment time, complimentary upgrades, gift vouchers and much more. Sprinkling the festivities across many outlets, there will be a mix of surprise emails to guests, on the day rewards, social media promotions and partnerships with the local community to offer everyone something to look forward too.
Additionally, to reward the hard work and loyalty of the Moddershall Oaks’ team, particularly throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, staff from all areas of the business will receive a celebratory party filled with festivities and their own exciting surprises.
To mark the special occasion, Moddershall Oaks is also offering spa-goers a limited-edition Celebration Spa Evening which will be available to book during the month of December and available to enjoy in the New Year. Making the perfect Christmas gift and pick-me-up for the January blues, the spa evening includes a prosecco afternoon tea, full use of the extensive indoor and outdoor spa facilities plus a luxurious 25-minute Indian head massage.
Moddershall Oaks’ Director, Penny Weston says “We are incredibly grateful and proud to be celebrating 21 years of our country spa retreat. When my parents first opened Moddershall Oaks in 2000, I was only 14 and couldn’t possibly imagine the incredible business it would become. We first opened as a day spa focusing on spa and fitness memberships, later extending the spa facilities and opening the accommodation and restaurant.
“Since then, the business has continued to grow. In 2010 we opened our wedding and events venue and in 2014 completed an external landscape project including our Oak gazebo which we licenced for civil ceremonies. 2014 also saw the opening of our new Deli, outdoor vitality spa pool, Kelo sauna and relaxation lounge, and 2017 saw the refurbishment of our bedrooms and the refitting of our main kitchen. In 2018 we opened the MADE Wellness Centre, a first for the area with state-of-the-art facilities. In recent years, focus has been on the development of the food and beverage side of the business and we recently launched the NEW Oak House Balcony Bar & Restaurant, which totally reinvents our food and drinks offering. ”
