More tests needed to find out why Tim died

Tim collapsed on Morrisons' car park

A post-mortem examination has failed to identify why Tim Perry collapsed and died on his way to work on Saturday 22nd January.

The 19-year-old, who lived in Church Street, Stone, collapsed on Morrison’s car park between 7.15am and 8am.

Paramedics were called to the scene but Tim, who had been making his way to his job at the Co-op store in High Street, was pronounced dead on arrival at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.

Staffordshire Police are currently treating the death as “unexplained”.

The Sentinel report that a post-mortem was conducted on Tuesday but further tests must now be carried out. An inquest into the former Alleyne’s High School pupil’s death will be held at North Staffordshire Coroner’s Court on a date yet to be set.
