Paul Brindley, managing director of Sandyford Properties, said:

“Mount Industrial Estate was one of our very first industrial estates and has been within the business for a long time. During this time, many local businesses have located to and flourished within the estate – we wish them all the very best for the future.”

He added:

“This sale represents another step in our strategy to refine our portfolio to purpose-built, fully industrial properties within the North West and Midlands. We look forward to completing further acquisitions in these regions later this year”.

Sandyford is currently seeking opportunities to invest in what it describes as modern, purpose built industrial assets across the North West and Midlands.

What it means locally

No details have been released about the identity of the private buyer, and there has been no indication of any immediate changes for existing tenants.

For many in Stone, Mount Industrial Estate is a familiar part of the local business landscape, providing space for employers and services that support both trade and residents.
