Narrowboat adventure talk for Priory Seal

Stone Historical and Civic Society are holding a talk entitled “Travels with a Narrowdog” on Tuesday 13th November at 7pm in the Priory Hall, Station Road, in aid of the Stone Priory Seal Appeal.

The talk is being given by Monica and Terry Darlington who have written several books on their travels aboard their narrowboat, including one on their trip across the Channel and down to the South of France.

Tickets are priced at £4 for adults and £2 for under-16s and includes refreshments. They can be purchased through Steve Booth on 01785 814067 or at the door on the night.
