New app for reporting issues to Stafford Borough Council

It’s now easier than ever for people in Stone to report issues to Stafford Borough Council thanks to a new mobile app.

A new app and new web forms have been introduced, allowing residents to report a range of problems such as fly tipping, litter or abandoned vehicles – as well as applying for car parking season tickets or obtaining replacement household bins.

The launch of the new channels coincides with the Council’s Streetscene and Pest Control services being given a national award – the ISO9001 – for the quality of service they provide to customers.  Council bosses say these additions were one of the reasons they secured the important industry award.

  • Dedicated buttons on the mobile website, so people can find out when their bins are emptied, or where their nearest car park is situated
  • The new app allows people to pinpoint exactly where a problem is, and provide the council with additional information to help them resolve it – attaching a photo, for example.  It also allows customers who register to track the status of their request.

New web forms from www.staffordbc.gov.uk/report allow people to do things as diverse as reporting anti-social behaviour to inviting the Mayor of the Borough to a function or event.

The new app is available by simply searching for ‘Stafford BC’ in the relevant store on your Apple, Android or Windows devices.  Don’t forget though the council can still be contacted on 01785 619000, via email at info@staffordbc.gov.uk or by writing to Stafford Borough Council, Civic Centre, Riverside, Stafford, ST16 3AQ.  A full range of council services can be found by accessing their website www.staffordbc.gov.uk
