Saturday 6th August saw Seddon Homes launch their newest development “Meadowside”, on Trent Road, Stone, and the race was on to reserve.
The stream of potential house hunters kept its pace all day, and the presence of a husband and wife sporting duo was met with plenty of interested parties. Former 800m world record breaker Ann Brightwell (Packer) MBE and her husband and ex team GB Captain Robbie Brightwell (MBE) were on hand to cut the red ribbon and unveil the new show home. The couple were then given a tour of the Oakworth, one of the developments 5 bedroom homes by Seddon’s sales & marketing director Denis Maddock.

“We were very happy to be invited to the launch of Meadowside and being the first over the line into the fabulous show home! It was fantastic to interact with potential buyers and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the show home with Denis” the couple commented.
Denis was delighted with the success of the launch, and commented: “We are very grateful to Ann and Robbie for taking time out of their busy schedules to pop into the development, chat to buyers and take a tour around our brand new show home.”

“The launch was a great success with over £1,000,000 worth of sales. It gave buyers the chance to gain a feel for the types of homes available at Meadowside and with many interested buyers heading down on the day to reserve their brand new plot, it won’t be long until people begin moving in,” concluded Denis.

Meadowside itself will consist of 33 new homes and will have the Government backed Help to Buy initiative available – allowing first time buyers, “second steppers” and families a new opportunity of home ownership in Stone. Meadowside is set to be a contemporary development of 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes that are finished with stylish fittings and well-designed living spaces.
Seddon Homes is set for a busy August, with, alongside its launch in Stone, show homes opening in Belmont near Bolton and Salterforth in Lancashire – both of which they will be hoping will hit the same heights as Meadowside last weekend
