New flavour, familiar faces as Mojaan brings Indian cuisine to former STREAT venue

A new chapter in Stone’s food scene is about to begin, as the team behind STREAT Graze & Bar return with a brand new concept, Mojaan | Indian Cuisine.

Set to open at the same location on 7a Radford Street, Stone, ST15 8DA, Mojaan promises to deliver a rich and authentic Indian dining experience, blending deep-rooted tradition with exciting new flavours.

From STREAT to spice

STREAT, which opened in November 2018 and became known for its fusion street food and relaxed social atmosphere, announced its closure earlier this year.

In a statement, the team confirmed:

“Mojaan | Indian Cuisine is a brand new concept and we’re really excited to introduce something fresh to Stone. We’ll be serving authentic Indian food, rich in flavour and tradition, with a menu that celebrates the diversity and depth of Indian cuisine, quite different from what STREAT offered.”

While Mojaan marks a clear departure from the menu and styling of its predecessor, it won’t be an entirely unfamiliar experience for regulars.

“That said, for those who loved STREAT, there’ll definitely be some familiar touches. Mojaan will be run by the same owner and many of the same friendly faces from the team will still be there, along with some new ones to welcome you in. We’re blending the comfort of what our regulars loved with the excitement of something new.”

A new identity, the same warm welcome

With Mojaan, the focus shifts firmly to the bold and aromatic dishes that define Indian cuisine, crafted with care and authenticity. The team say they are committed to showcasing a menu that not only reflects regional specialities, but also embraces the evolving tastes of local diners.

An opening date has not yet been confirmed, but anticipation is already building, with teasers and updates being shared across Mojaan’s social media platforms.
