Not far away, The Pheasant on Old Road has also returned to life after its own spell of closure.

The Pheasant

Both pubs have experienced a run of short tenancies, which has made it difficult for them to build any rhythm. Hopefully the new landlords can make their mark on Stone’s pub community.
