The Governing Body for the school commented:

“Mrs. Sherratt hit the ground running in January, when she joined CCFS in an interim position. She got up to speed with our school extremely quickly and has effectively lead the day-to-day running of the school, having already made some significant improvements.

“We are confident that Mrs. Sherratt will have a very positive impact on our school, alongside all the staff, and feel fortunate to have secured her as our new head.”

Mrs. Sherratt added:

“I am absolutely thrilled and excited to be accepting the role of Headteacher at CCFS. I feel truly privileged. The children, staff and the whole school community have made me feel so welcome.

“Children are at the heart of everything that we do at CCFS and I am determined to continue this very special and treasured ethos. Having a strong creative approach to the curriculum enables all children to have a chance to shine, whatever their abilities.”
