Calling All Photographers!
Think you can take a classy shot? Then the ALBOS Image of the Month Competition is for you!
Whether you’re a tech whiz or a phone snapper, capture the theme of the month and enter our competition! At the moment this a is a “just for fun” competition but if any of our readers would like to offer something in the way of the prize please contact us on the email address below.
To kick things off we’re starting with the August theme of Stone Family Fun!
With the summer holidays on our doorstep, plans are afoot for adventures & outings, picnics & play times. Feeding the ducks? Snap a pic! Trying out one of our towns fabulous restaurants or cafes? Snap a pic! A day on the canal… you get the idea!
The picture can be anything that you feel captures the essence of family fun, but remember, it must be from our little part of the world! There will be 2 age categories; Under 18 & Over 18. The winner from the Over 18 category will get to choose the topic for September.
Include with your picture a description of where and when it was taken (it must be within 10 miles of Stone, and have been take in August 2016), and what it means to you.
Email your image to stonefamilyfun@alittlebitofstone.com by August 25th to enter.
The Rules:
- 1 pic per entrant. If you wish to change your entered image, email the replacement with the subject header REPLACE from the same email address as your previous entry.
- Images must be the entrants own work and free from copyright.
- Include your name, address, contact number, details of image, and age category within the email. Under 18’s please provide age of photographer & adult contact details.
- Images must have been taken between 1st August 2016 & August 25th and be taken within a 10 mile radius of Stone.
- By entering your image, you agree to allow us publish it on our website and social media platforms.
- The ALBOS team will be judging the entries and their decision is final
The winner will be announced on the 28th August.
