Stone’s Pasta Di Piazza Italiana restaurant is currently undergoing a complete refurbishment for spring 2016 and will have a striking new look when it re-opens on 6th February.
Doors closed and work began this week on the Stone High Street eatery, which has been a popular venue in the town for many years. The exciting transformation represents a £750,000 investment into the business by new owner Jigar Gheewala and is expected to create additional full and part-time jobs in both the Stone and Newcastle restaurants, which will both undergo a total facelift.
The new look is the brainchild of Staffordshire firm DV Architects Limited, whose senior interior designer Samantha White has pulled together the plans for both sites.

Both restaurants will have a similar look and feel. The colour schemes are very contemporary, and we’ve also injected some great touches of Italian personality and style into the design, including our own unique interpretation of one of the most famous Italian frescoes in art history.”[/box]

With the addition of a landscaped outdoor space and a new conservatory, the restaurant will be able to seat around 180 diners and will include a 38-seater private dining area perfect for party bookings.
Restaurant manager Antonio da Silva said his staff are looking forward to welcoming customers back when the restaurant reopens for evening service on Saturday 6th February.

A special launch event for invited guests has already been planned to mark the reopening, where patrons will be treated to an exclusive three-course menu and welcome drinks.
