Panda Press took delivery of their new, 10-tonne printing press on Sunday morning.
The ring road was closed temporarily to allow the five-colour ‘GH525 B3’ Hans Gronhi press to be delivered safely. And the new machine will see the specialist Stone print and design company going from strength to strength.
Managing director Laurence Tunnicliffe says the new machine will also generate savings for the company through the lower cost of consumables and the fact it uses less power than the four-colour machine it’s replacing.
Panda Press takes on a range of general commercial work from a wide spread of customers, mainly but not exclusively from the local area, and employs eight staff. One of the company’s strengths is its design capability, with over half its work now designed in-house.
