Nine eggs in Stone bluetit birdcam box!

Count them - 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9!!

Wildlife lovers have been able to keep tabs on the special birdcam since 2008 after Jon Cook set up the miniature web camera.

Over the last few years he has captured a whole host of Springwatch-style moments, usually involving bluetits.

It was amazing last year to see a nest being built, eggs being laid, chicks hatching and being raised (and all the highlights of last year are available to view on the Stone birdcam website).

And 2011 looks set to be a bumper year, with Mrs Bluetit laying nine eggs!

You can have a look at the latest video from the bird box here.
