Stafford Borough Council has published its October half-term activity guide – and there’s lots going on in Stone and across the borough.
Children can enjoy a wide range of sports courses and activities and there will be Multi Mix activity days, H-Zone interactive dance mats and game zones, as well as mobile skate parks, an indoor triathlon, the popular ‘bikeability’ cycling course and football, dodgeball and basketball coaching sessions.
Free swimming sessions for children aged 15 and under are also available from Monday to Friday at Stafford Leisure Centre (10am to 11am) and Alleyne’s Sports Centre in Stone (11am to noon daily, except 2pm to 3pm on Tuesday) as well as a range of pool activities – including the giant inflatable.
