Supporters of the bid to reopen the Railway Inn now have a new way to back the project.

Campaign organisers have launched an online pledge form, allowing people to register their support from home in just a few minutes.
The group shared the update this week, describing it as “AMAZING NEWS!” and confirming that the digital form is now live on their website.
New online pledge system now live
The new form is available via the Railway Inn website and is designed to make pledging quicker and simpler for residents who want to support the effort to bring the pub back into community use.
Organisers said:
“It’s finally here! The online pledge form has arrived! It’s so easy to use – from the comfort of your own home – just click on the link below and fill in your details – EASY! You can place your pledge in minutes!”
Anyone with questions is encouraged to contact the team directly via message or email.

Fundraising total passes £81,000
Alongside the launch of the online form, the group confirmed their current fundraising position.
They said the pledge total now stands at £81,500.
In addition, a further £1,000 has been raised through GoFundMe and event donations.
The separate fundraising page remains active at:

Organisers are continuing to encourage people to pledge, share updates and spread the word locally.
Newsletter and mailing list update
The group also confirmed that a new edition of their newsletter will be sent out soon.
They asked anyone who believes they have subscribed but not received emails to check their spam folder, and to get in touch if messages are still not coming through.
Residents who are not yet signed up can join the mailing list by entering their details on the homepage of the Railway Inn website or by messaging the team directly.
The campaign to reopen the Railway Inn as a community pub has gathered steady support in recent months, with fundraising events and online donations helping to build momentum.
With the online pledge form now in place, organisers are hoping it will make it even easier for supporters to get involved and help push the total higher.
