Oulton Abbey again plays host to the ever-popular Oulton Village Fete and Garden Party.

Last year’s event broke box-office records and they are hoping that this year will continue in the same vein.

Taking place on the 12th July all the usual attractions will be there including cake and plant stalls, raffles and tombola’s, bric-a-brac and white elephant stalls in aid of local groups and refreshments including a beer-tent, teas and coffee.

The fete will also see the return of the vilage tug-of-war and traction engine rides around the perimeter of the grounds. There will be a tour around the historic Abbey Church at the end of the day.

Admission is still only £1 for adults, 50p for children and £2.50 for a family ticket. All proceeds will to to support Oulton Village Hall
