Stafford Borough Council is looking for nominations from organisations and societies in Stone for next year’s carpet bed design in Stonefield Park.
Organisations and businesses are being invited to tell the council why their logo should take centre stage in the award-winning park’s feature next year.
This year the carpet bed in the Field Terrace park marked 100 years of Girl Guiding – with the park winning an award for ‘Horticultural Excellence’ in the Heart of England in Bloom competition in the summer.
Councillor Mike Smith, cabinet member for leisure, said: “I’m sure there are plenty of businesses and organisations in the Stone community who would love to see themselves portrayed in flowers in Stonefield Park.”
People need to get their nominations in before 30th January, along with a short explanation of why they should take pride of place in the park. The planting of the beds will take place in June.
