A 68-year-old man was knocked to the ground and robbed in Stone last night.
The man was walking along a path by the Shell garage in Walton Way just before 10.30pm on Thursday 18th October. He was approached from behind and hit on the head, causing him to fall. The offender threatened the man and a small quantity of cash was handed over. The offender then walked off towards Walton Way. The victim sustained minor injuries to his face and head but didn’t need to go to hospital.
The offender is described as a white man, aged in his late teens to early 20s and of stocky build. He was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a matching grey zip-up tracksuit top with the hood up.
